Ranjita Devi of the VFS Beluri Branch, Bihar, had a small dairy farm. Her husband was a labourer in transport business in the Purnea region.. The family was barely able to meet the household expenses. In 2016, she invested a loan of Rs 50,000 from VFS, in purchasing cows. With six cows at present, her dairy farm produces 20 litres of milk daily. This increase in her purchasing power has lent momentum to her plan of expanding the business with the help of VFS. Now, both her sons have enrolled in English-medium schools. As a successful entrepreneur, Ranjita Devi is a true inspiration for all of us.
